-Name: Najat
-Native Language: French and English
-Language Being Studied: Croatian and Japanese
-Ability in Language Being Studied: none (just started)
-Gender: female
-Age: 16
-A little about yourself: I love graphic design, web design and photography (not exactly practicing the latter). Art is my source of inspiration. I'm very picky and sometimes whiny. I like everything and everybody. I have a strange personality, I'm excited most of the time. I have no idea why I chose to learn Croatian but I'm looking forward to mastering this language in the next two years. I want to learn Japanese so I can converse with my best-friend, who's also learning. My first ever favorite band was Something Corporate but now I listen to a variety of bands that are not of the genres country, rap, hip hop or raggae. The song 'Caramell Dansen' makes me very happy and jumpy on the inside :)

Hello, I'm a new member!

-Name or Alias: Maggie
-Native Language: English
-Language Being Studied: Portuguese
-Ability in Language Being Studied: Very basic, due to a lack of local resources I'm stuck using a computer program and I've only gotten through the simple practice bits such as greetings, animals, numbers, ect.
-Gender: Female
-Age: 17
-A little about yourself: I live in Kansas (woopee) and I work at a library reference desk, I love to read, sew and listen to music and I'm homeschooled working towards getting my GED (the equivalent of a high school diploma for those who don't know). I only recently became interested in portuguese, basically after I discovered a popular singer from Portugal named David Fonseca I started learning more about the country and the culture and I pretty much fell in love with it. I'd love to just chat/write with someone from there or someone who can speak the language just to improve my knowledge of how their conversation flows. Unfortunately my pronunciation is awful, I might be a lifelong gringo, but I'm eager to try at get better. :D And I'm also not as boring as I sound, hopefully.
